When working in retail, some people may find that there are occasional customers that will share a lot of personal stuff with you. You don’t ask for this, nor do you really want to hear it, since this is the very first time you’ve met the person. This customer has created the illusion of friendship within seconds of talking to you, and it can be…awkward.
